Welcome to the Montgomery Development Education Centre (MDEC) website. MDEC is an Aberdeen based organisation, covering the whole of the North-East of Scotland. We are the education section of Aberdeen for a Fairer World (formerly the Third World Centre). The Centre is part of the International Development Education Association of Scotland (IDEAS). This is a network of over 40 organisations and individuals involved in Development Education and Education for Global Citizenship/Sustainable Development Education across Scotland.

Fairtrade Aberdeen opens

Fairtrade Aberdeen is the new trading name for the Third World Centre, which has opened in new premises at 101 George Street, Aberdeen AB25 1HU. The shop stocks a wide range of Fairtrade produce from foodstuffs to crafts and clothes. It's easy to find - right next to John Lewis.
